In my divorce decree it states that my former spouse must pay the monthly premiums for my health care plan. He deducts this from his return & claims I must file it as income (separately from what I claim as income from my alimony received). I do not think it is income--he pays the bill directly to the insurance company. It is NOT considered as part of the Alimony in the divorce papers. I cannot get a straight answer, even H&R Block told me he did not know!

This bill was brought up recently in the senate. Senator Clinton co-sponsored the bill, even Senator Dodd who has endorsed Obama co-sponsered the bill ..I would like to know if anyone has heard Obama give any statements or information on why he did not.. Hi, I am about to file for tax return, will the stimulus bill just pass be available by the time I file. what am saying is if I file now will I get with the tax refund the fund from stimulus bill? if not when should I file in order to benefit from it?(I heard in April) also I am thinking of filing online is it good? if not, to go to big companys like H$R block or private, which one is good? thanks all for the fast reply within 3min of put this online 3 replys already ,God bless!!!
